AI Builder
Your business's website, built for you.
Tell AI Builder your business's name, what kind of business it is and where to find you. It builds the site, and you run it from your dashboard: your brand, your hours, your own domain.
Create your website
Your site is built from these to start with.
Business name
Type of business
Description
Preview address
How it works. A few lines about your business go in. A site you can put your domain on comes out.
- 01
Tell it about your business
Your business's name, what kind of business it is, a line or two describing it, and your address and phone. That is all the first build needs.
- 02
It builds your site
Your site is built at a preview address first, where search engines can't see it. Look it over there, and change anything you like.
- 03
Connect your domain
Add the domain you already own, verify that it's yours and point it at your new site. Your current site stays up until that last step.
Built once, yours to change. Everything the first build decided is a setting on a tab.
Your brand, from a logo and one color
Upload your logo and pick your primary color. The theme works out the lighter and darker shades from it, and your site's browser icon is made from the same color.
The builder checks the contrast as you choose, and says so when text would be hard to read.
The facts customers look for
Set your hours day by day, with a second period for a split day like a lunch break. Add your social links by pasting a link or typing your handle.
Your address and phone are shown on every page, in your site's map link and in search results.
A storefront, if you sell products
Every site is built from a theme. The one for a store takes its catalog from your point of sale and gives it a cart, with pickup, local delivery and catering as services you switch on.
Each theme has its own layouts for the top of the home page. A store's can lead with a search box, or with a row of photos.
Live on the domain you already own
Your site is built at a preview address first, where search engines can't see it. When you are ready, add the address customers already visit, verify that it's yours, and point it at your new site.
Your current site stays up until that last step, so there is no gap between the old one and the new one.
- Add domain
- Verify ownership
- 3Point CNAME
- 4Live
Every change is a version
Save, and your site is rebuilt with the new settings. Every change made in the dashboard is kept, so there is a record of what changed and when.
If one turns out wrong, roll back to any of your last ten deploys. The earlier version is served at once, without a rebuild.
Google Business Profile
Sign in with the Google account that manages your business on Google Maps, choose the listing for your store, and it is linked to your site.
Structured data
Your site publishes what kind of business you are in the form search engines read, so they don't have to work it out from the page.
One file
Your whole site is described by a single file, merchant.json. Every change you make in the dashboard is written to it.
For the business you run. The first thing the builder asks is what kind it is.

Common questions.
What do I need to get started?
Your business's name, the kind of business it is, a short description, and your address and phone. Your site is built from those to start with, and you can change everything afterwards.
What happens to my current site?
Nothing, until you decide. Your new site is built at a preview address, and your current one stays up until you point your domain at the new one.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Add the address customers already visit, add one record to verify that it's yours, and point a CNAME at your new site. Until then the site lives at its preview address, which search engines can't see.
Can I change the site after it's built?
Everything: your logo and colors, your hours, address and social links, the theme, and the services your site offers. Save, and the site is rebuilt with the new settings.
What if a change goes wrong?
Every change is saved as a version. You can roll back to any of your last ten deploys, and the earlier version is served at once, without a rebuild.
Can customers order from the site?
With the theme for stores, yes. The catalog comes from your point of sale, with a cart, and pickup, local delivery and catering are services you switch on.
